Christmas Day December 25, 2008

There were a lot of goodies under the tree. Michael got everything he wanted. Anything Bat Man is a highlight for him. What he asked for a couple of months ago was Spike the Dinosaur. In the days leading up to Christmas, he kept pointing out the gift that he thought Spike was in. The crazy thing is, he was right. Mia got stuff that she didn't know she wanted, but was very happy with it, especially her Yo Gabba Gabba guitar. Veronica got this great VTech book that sings to her, but really Veronica is happy handling everyone's goodies. Phil, as you can see, was very happy and surprised with his Little House On the Prairie First Season DVD set. Coming in second for him was the Dark Knight. I was very happy with everything that I got, but I was the happiest watching everyone else open there goodies. What a fun day, tiring, but fun!

Midnight Mass December 25, 2008

Midnight Mass causes a little bit of anxiety in the Clark household. The plans goes like this..Phil goes to church by himself to hold seats for the rest of the family. I stay home and get myself dressed, start waking the kids by 11pm and then get them dressed, call for a cab and get to church by midnight when mass starts. But guess what?! It all works out. Then after mass we take pictures and then we find a WAWA to get a hoagie. You may not be able to tell, but it is 2 o'clock in the morning when we are taking these pictures!

Silent Night, Holy Night! December 19, 2008

Michael's First Christmas Pageant! December 18, 2008

Check out the shepherd boy! Michael was so excited for this show. He had been practicing all his songs at home every night leading up to show time. I think his favorite song is Silent night.
(Coming in the next post)

Oh, The Love! December 14, 2008

Everyone just loves Veronica so much. It's kind of hard not too!

Flying High! December 14, 2008

Every night before we sit down and say our prayers, Phil comes up to the kids room and throws the kids way up in the air. This of course only happens because we have 12 foot ceilings in our bedrooms. Michael and Mia each get five throws. Michael thinks he's a superhero, so he has come up with a different pose for each throw. Figuring out that he can touch the ceiling is just an added bonus!

Oh Veronica! November 30, 2008

Veronica is moving out of the way for the new baby. It's quite amazing how fast she is changing. One day she is breastfeeding and the next she is feeding herself table food. She loves chicken, cheerios, bagels and pretty much anything else you give to her. She sleeps well, plays well by herself and loves to bang toys. Veronica is going to make the transition of going from three to four very tolerable. Look how much she has changed. The first picture is Veronica at 9 months old and the other is her at 9 days old.

Please Touch Museum October 26, 2008 pt. 2

Please Touch Museum October 26, 2008 pt. 1

The new Please Touch Museum is really nice. Much bigger than the last one, but not overwhelming for the children. If you haven't gone yet, you should!

Franklin Square Fall Celebration October 18, 2008

Fun Fun Fun at Franklin Square! We rode the train, painted pumpkins and picked out pumpkins to take home.

Mia's going to school! October 16, 2008

Mia has started school and at first was very excited about it. She was happy to have her new Dora blanket and pretty sheet and she talked about going to school for a whole week. Well, that soon changed. She was very happy to be in the classroom until it was time for Veronica and I to leave. I figured out quickly not to say goodbye to her. All I had to do was let her know that Veronica had to get back in the car. I let her decide what she wanted to say to us and it worked. No crying!

I'm playing here! September 30, 2008

Veronica fits in perfectly. She can play by herself really well or she can play with Michael and Mia. She knows what she wants and she goes and gets it!

Okay, I know he looks crazy! September 30, 2008

Michael was so proud of the fruit loop necklace that he made at school. Before he ate it, he had to model it.

First one in, first one out! September 27, 2008

I have gotten bath time down to 30 minutes. I have a system. They all get in at the same time and then I wash Veronica. Get her out. Lotion, diaper, pajamas and then baby jail while I take care of Michael and Mia. Mia is next. While I am getting lotion on Mia, I start the draining of the tub. Michael gets to stay in the tub until all the water is gone. By the time that happens Mia is finished and then Michael and I lotion him down and then he gets his pajamas on. And people ask me all the time, "How do you do it?" My answer usually is, "I just do."

The Clark Kids Love Johnson's Corner Farm September 21, 2008

Johnson's Corner Farm has become a family favorite in our household. Michael can easily spend an hour driving the cars around the track. Mia enjoys the climber with the slide and Veronica just does exactly what we want her to. That won't last much longer. Little V is growing up fast!

V. C. means.. September 15, 2008

...Very Confident Veronica Clark. Veronica is moving right along . I guess getting out of the way for baby number 4. Isn't she a cutie! She looks really good in her sister's hand-me-downs. Any color is her color. I'm not bragging, of course!
